Dr. Samuel Obi is a Professor and Director of Technology at San Jose State University where he has taught since 1989. He coordinates and teaches courses in the Manufacturing Systems program in the College of Engineering. In Remembrance of Christ, which is his seventh book, challenges Christians to live sacrificially in view of who Christ is and what He meant when He adjourned His disciples to do this in remembrance of Me. Such attitudinal understanding will help Christians to live a more overcoming life.

He has also authored numerous peer-reviewed technical articles in industrial ethics, manufacturing systems and related areas, and has presented at numerous professional conferences and events. He has served on numerous departmental, college, university, local, and national committees. He is an active technology transfer agent and consultant, and has helped to found programs geared to helping Nigerian and African immigrants adjust to life in American society.
