About the Book

Pirate Adventures is a series of humorous short stories written in poetic rhyming style with a variety of characters including pirates, ship captains, dignitaries, and, even, unusual sea creatures.  The book tracts the adventures of two pirate ships and Lord Winchester’s ship and their crews as they sail to various points of interest and ports.  The pirate tales combine the serious aspect of pirate crimes with the ongoing humor of the characters and events.  All the characters and sea creatures have unusual names.  The three ships will transport the reader to a different world on the sea as the pirates live their life of revelry.  The book is brimming with fantasy and humor and should appeal to people of all ages.

About the Author

I grew up on an orange ranch in Southern California.  After living there for ten years, my family moved to the city, and, later, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Occidental College near Los Angeles.

      I loved the country life and always wanted to return to a rural environment.  I write poetry, serious, and humorous and humorous fiction. 

      I have had three books published, Tales of Farmer Jack, Adventures of Farmer Jack, and The Baron which are humorous fiction. 

      I love animals, especially dogs, and I work with three dog rescue groups sponsoring dogs that are rescued from shelters.

      My own dogs are an inspiration as well as a source of humor and a lot of company.  I have always been a creative type of person and enjoy expressing myself through writing.  I have been blessed with an active imagination which adds to the fantasy of Pirate Adventures.  I hope the readers enjoy this book.
