About the Book

The Lannan Diary is a sequel to the author's third book, The Lannan Project, and is the second of a proposed trilogy.  Immigration to Lannan has begun in earnest and we follow the development of the new world through the eyes of Pat McLennan and his family.  As an adviser to the Supreme Council and part time reporter Pat is at the centre of all major issues, from politics, religion and sport to the mining operations on Mainland and the land reclamation projects of the outer Isles.

About the Author

A retired civil servant from East Kilbride in Scotland, Bernard Stocks started writing late in life and this is his fifth novel.  He describes his work as 'science-fictionish' rather than straight science fiction.  His approach is to take a situation based on fantasy and then apply the results to everyday life.  Apart from writing he enjoys researching and compiling reference books on Scottish football history.  He also claims to be a 'reluctant' gardener and a computer addict!
