Introduction Our Constitution presents us the administration of one of the most successful religious institutions in the evangelization of the Spanish-American people in America and in the world. The value and strength of our constitution is that each of us fulfills it and enforces it. Registered in the state of California as a non-profit corporation in 1930, we are required to have and practice a constitution. A constitution that highlights the administrative process of the Church and guarantees spiritual and constitutional freedom to its members but also lays out the policies by which each member must serve. … "but, following the truth in love, let us grow up in all things into him who is the head, that is, Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being joined together by all the joints that help one another, according to the proper activity of each member, receives its increase to build itself up in love" Ephesians 4:15-16. In this volume, the author presents the main purpose of Our Constitution. To provide a sense of direction in the function of all ministries at the different levels of the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus and to motivate the reader to go back to history and understand that, as members of it, we appreciate the legacy of our patriarchs. Men who with their passion left engraved in the pages of our constitution and with much effort formulated a process of establishing a constitution that led the Church to an integral administration of its ministries. In religious history, many documents from institutions that compiled their teachings and doctrine through the ages stand out. A well-known one is the Judaic Talmud. In it we find a tradition of interpretations and teachings that have guided people in their spiritual journey. In that volume, members of the Jewish community have used it as a Source of Wisdom and Guidance by generations to understand and solve their spiritual and administrative challenges following the provisions of God's Law. I. PURPOSE. The object of this book is to analyze, wherever possible, our constitution. The text and the formation of the document that establishes an administrative system of our beloved Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. II. RELEVANCE FOR MINISTRY: This manual is intended to introduce us to the administrative system and the relevant historic events in the development of our beloved church. We all need to understand and appreciate our Apostolic practices and have a deeper knowledge that enables us to have a clear understanding of the vision of our Church and its doctrinal foundation that allows us a more effective ministry. III. COMMITMENT. Our commitment should impulse us to give the best we possess to magnify our understanding and preparation to be effective servants in our service in the work of the Lord. IV. DESCRIPTION: This course makes an analysis of the Constitution. The text and formation of the document that establishes the administrative system of the church. V. OBJECTIVE, COURSE AND RESULTS OF LEARNING: In this course, the student will: 1. Demonstrate the ability to understand the administrative and economic system of the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. 2. Demonstrate understanding about the presented topics in class. 3. Critically read the lectures assigned by the class teacher. 4. It is recommended that the teacher use small groups to have dialogue and develope discussions about the themes reviewed in the class. 5. Present a final work that reflects an understanding of the basic fundamentals of the administration modeled in the designated chapters of our constitution. 6. The purpose of the material included in this book is to motivate the student to express in their own terms, the level of their personal growth that they have received through the introduction of such important material. 7. One of the main factors of this course is to present our Constitution to the student as the key text for the best function of our church and how it is organized. 8. In it we will cover three levels or three sections of administrative bodies. Our patriarchs bequeathed to us a document that, through the years, through multiple cases that they faced, were legislating the most appropriate way to handle them, and as a result left a notable model of resolving issues and provided us a guide that has been very effective in the advance of our beloved Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus. 9. I will begin this study with the introduction of the constitution and take it as a starting point for our study.

This book covers the administrative process that the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus has taken to become one of the fastest growing Hispanic churches in the World.
The humble beginnings of its founders from the Azusa Street Revival of 1906 have given us a legacy as to how God can empower men conduct His Will.
The reader will find that through almost one hundred years of intense Godly inspiration the Apostolic Assembly has followed a path of establishing guidelines that not only deal with spiritual doctrine, but also a way to help its members become involved in fulfilling the Global Vision of the church.
As the church grew and solutions to urgent needs came up, the leadership followed biblical examples in conflict resolution through prayer and fasting, and were able to establish processes that, guided by the Word of God, had been the foundation of the organization style of the church.
The book of Acts, chapter 6, for example, teaches the importance of prioritizing prayer and the ministry of the Word by establishing a system of serving and choosing leaders to address practical needs within the growing church, thus demonstrating that a visionary church addresses internal needs with wisdom, leading to increased growth and the continued spread of the gospel.
This book will give the readers the opportunity to know and understand the administrative foundation of the Apostolic Assembly.
About the Author
Pastor Felipe Lugo enjoys more than 38 years of pastoral experience at the Apostolic Assembly of Faith in Christ Jesus in San Bernardino Ca. During his ministerial career, he served at various ministerial levels. His experience is vast in the administrative area of the church, having served for more than 20 years on the Constitutional Revision committee. He has served as Bishop General Treasurer for eight years, Supervising Bishop of the California Interior District for eight years, and Sector Elder for eight years. He has served as a teacher at the International Bible College and district administrator of the International Bible College for many years of faithful service. Pastor Lugo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Accounting from Cal State University in San Bernardino, Ca., and a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena CA.
