About the Author

Tina Marie Johnson was born to a Chicago South Suburbs Markham, Illinois. Raised by single mother who was an artist. She started drawing at the age of 7 and writing short stories by the age of ten. She has three degrees and has worked in Education and Human Services for 20 years. In 2013, she self-published two children’s chapter books Heaven Dolly Little Miss Attitude and Heaven Dolly I Dare You. She went on to release four other self-publish novels under the pen name Maria Truth. With her love for art and storytelling she found common ground as a writer dedicating herself to children’s literature and illustrations wanting to bring back her focus to young readers.
