About the Book

Being Chased is a young girl’s thoughts of psychological events of ghosts. Shadows have driven her into a dark place—a paralyzed nightmare in her dreams. It’s a journey that keeps repeating itself. Once the chase starts, it won’t stop. The scare awakens her to make different choices in her lifestyle, socially and mentally, in the real world. She discovers a shocking twist that unfolds before her eyes.

About the Author

Mary Blackmon, was born in 1970, in Detroit Michigan, she left Detroit when she was 17 years of age and moved to Milwaukee WI, she traveled to Mississippi to see her two sisters in the 1980’s. In the1990, she meets a man and had two children Patrick and Amanda smith There on, her children had children, and a proud grand mother of seven grandchildren. The author started working in the health care field and the industrial field, but she wasn’t satisfied so she started going to college to Springfield college and graduated with her first BS, degree in Addiction Counseling in 2012. Further in her education; got her master’s in Business Admiration at CTU. In 2017 and currently working on another master’s in healthcare administration at CTU. Soon in 2018. Her in between time throughout the years, she stared writing her book, being chased and several others that has not been published yet. Her first book is Being Chased and it was her greatest accomplishments along with being a mother for her children. Everything she ever done was for her children and grandchildren. She learns and finds ways to be independent, living on her own, and to be a single woman waiting for the right man to come along. I would like to give thanks to God for my children, my sisters, brothers and parents. Also thanking my brother James E. Blackmon JR, in giving me the guidance and spiritual wisdom to understand my dreams. I thank my sisters in Water Valley, Mississippi Sherry and Suzzette Blackmon in giving me the strength to overcome all obstacles in my life.
