Allen R. Remaley loves his family and the life granted him. He loves his country and served four years as an enlisted United States marine. He questions his Good Conduct Medal by saying, “How could a mean, lean, green marine earn a medal like that?” After his military service, he attended colleges and universities in this country and abroad and, at the age of fifty-eight, completed his doctorate in French. He can make mistakes in four languages. Among his hobbies are playing pickle ball, strumming an old banjo, enjoying happy hours with his wife and with his friends, contemplating the miracle of life, and on occasion, writing something down thinking that he is the first to have done so. How bizarre. He and his wife make their home in Saratoga Springs, New York, and in Scottsdale, Arizona.
