About the Book

The second book in the Drew Kasey Chronicles is titled 'Navy Hero' and it begins where the first book 'Aviator Wings' concluded. In fact, the entire series of books will begin where the previous book ends.

As 'Navy Hero' begins, Drew is an officer in the Navy and he is assigned to the Navy SEALS. He is preparing to go overseas for the first time and in a few days he is planning to visit his home prior to actually leaving the STATES.

Drew will conclude the assignment and then he will do something completely out of character. Within a month of returning from the first mission, he is sent to the Pentagon where he is assigned to a new duty station.

As an Inspirational book writer, the majority of the characters in the books will be of good character and are meant to send a positive message. I used a military-government background theme with some drama and a little mild romance to make you smile and then of course there are some instances where the reader could have their heart touched with sadness.

Enjoy the book.

About the Author

Dale Garriott was born in Jasper County, Indiana. It was the best place a kid could have been brought up in my day was right where I lived. Rensselaer was a small town but the largest in the county. Getting into trouble was hard for my pals and me to do. The author was not exactly a great student through his high school days in either English or Literature. He preferred to give oral reports but did not like to take the time to effectively present the conclusion and often defied his teacher by commenting, “That’s all I have to say!”

Like a lot of the baby boomers it took more than a teacher emphasizing the importance of communicating effectively to get the point across. But later as an employee of a large communication corporation, he working as a training instructor and was assigned to completely change the format and material of the technical courses he taught. Fortunately he was able to get the projects completed and learned a great deal in the process.

Later after taking an early retirement he watched one of his daughters struggle as she tried to write some fictional novels. She stopped before completing either. This motivated him to try his hand at writing himself.

He now lives in a Dallas suburb with his wife and has three daughters in the area.
