Answered Prayers

FOREWORD

       In Christian circles we often hear stories of amazing people of faith that seem to live a life that is beyond ordinary.  Personally, when I hear these testimonies instantly I begin to weigh the details in a balance searching for the loophole.  You know the part that either invalidates or discredits at least a portion of the story, at least some confirmation that there was a special circumstance that allowed these things to happen for this person.  Then I find some way to cope with not walking in the fullness of truth that carries these amazing individuals from faith to faith.  As God works on breaking me out of this lifestyle of criticism, judgment, and well, even excuses He brought Freddie Power into my life.

       It has not just been a privilege to know and serve with Freddie, it has been an honor.  Always upbeat, energetic, and full of positive, positive, positive words she brings light and hope to every situation.  She has a special gift of grabbing hold of people like me, who need an outlet, a place to get plugged in and serve.  Having first met her while being teamed together for prophetic ministry at Morningstar Fellowship Church, I could see in the natural and in the spirit that she was as much a woman of grace as she was a woman of authority.  In a moment we were forever infused.  Within a week she brought a youth pastor from Taiwan to speak with my fourth grade students.  Next, I was ministering to the homeless with her at the Old Garr Church.  Before long I found myself trekking Africa with this wonderful grandmother that I could barely hold pace with!

       She has not ever asked me to do anything that is not within me to do, though she has asked me to do things that I was not self motivated to move out in on my own.  For this I am grateful.  My life has more freedom, and is definitely fuller- especially in my spirit.  Shortly after she invited me to Africa, God gave me a vision confirming the generational impact that her influence in my life was going to have.  So, I do not take lightly the time I have with her nor the words she has to share.  Keeping Hope Alive is not just the name of Freddie’s ministry it is a banner that flies over her life, and a mantle that sits upon her. 

With Freddie, you will not find a loophole that invalidates or discredits her testimony of faith.  You will however find confirmation of a special circumstance that allows her to consistently walk in supernatural miracles and revelation; she truly loves God with all of her being!  Freddie is a woman who knows the simplicity of our Savior, yet lives in the depths of His power and authority.  I am forever blessed, forever changed by this amazing woman of faith, who is a spiritual mother to all she encounters!  It is with no shadow of a doubt that your faith will be strengthened and most of all encouraged through the stories of victory that Freddie’s life exhibits!  Her book, Answered Prayers, is truly an inspirational composite of God meeting His beloved creation in the very simple actions of prayer and obedience!
