Ch 2 Planet Mythical Peace
The train ride was very enjoyable without a single hint of a curse. Very comfy chairs and footrests and excellent view. But all of that no-curse stuff ended abruptly when the subway had picked up speed and stations whipped by. All of a sudden the kids’ hair was whipping back furiously as though trying to rip and tear itself out of the flesh of the head. There was a smashing noise as the train burst out of the stone, iron, and plasma walls with such force that Max, Sarah, K.T, and Diamond were thrown to the back of the subway and collided painfully with a wall. Out the window the blue and white streaks of cloud and sky quickly zipped away and endless black filled with streaks of white darts as stars flew past. Diamond worried that they might not be able to inhale and exhale properly, but they breathed just fine. A warp of time and distance opened and the train flew right through it. That warp was called the Hyperspace. It allowed the user to cross through half of the universe in a margin of one second! Stars and even planets whizzed past and very soon the subway made a landing on an undiscovered planet of lush forests and towering mountains. Finally the subway came to a stop on the grassy fields.
Suddenly something appeared that didn’t show in Earth. The separating parts of the subway snapped together and a hatch swung up from the front of the train and a dragon head emerged. Twin claws appeared magically on the side. The serpentine dragon reared its head, shifted from its subway guise into deep green scales and muttered to himself.
“After my delivery of the fine young children who bring peace to this planet I will have a great slumber for a thousand years.” And it took off.
“Hey you stupid dragon! How can we get off this planet?” yelled Sarah angrily.
“A four person star ship lies at the top of the Makari Volcano beyond the Mountains of Shadow and Fire, or otherwise known as The Nightmare Mountains. A hyperspace is also there.”
It said as it flew toward the East. Now the four children they observed their surroundings. It was a paradise, wide grassy fields, pure and non-polluted lakes, clean and fresh air, even under the ground, (when Max dug for fun) a substance called The Blue Nectar provided (if cars and buildings were built) non-pollutant oil and also you pour one drop of the substance onto garbage and waste and barren and polluted land, the land will heal and the garbage will disappear into thin air so it won’t pollute lakes. The air was so fresh that anyone who inhaled it would feel peaceful so there would be no fighting or wars. It was a perfect place compared to Earth to live but all of Earth’s population didn’t know about this secret planet.
