Dr. Ramage, is currently a psychotherapist, in private practice specializing in Gerontology. He holds degrees in both clinical social work and behavioral psychology. Dr. Ramage, ACSW, LCSW, PIP, ACC is presently CEO of Associated Healthcare Consultants, a company he founded in 1970 to address the psychological needs of nursing home residents and their families. The philosophy which Dr. Ramage brought to the company was to provide a program of services which adhered to a team approach, continuity of care and to the basic principles of behavior modification. He mandated that all activity plans be developed by an interdisciplinary team and contain four basic elements of service: 1) goals, 2) objectives, 3) strategies and 4) evaluation, a program procedure now required in most nursing home facilities by Federal and State Regulatory Agencies.
