GOD'S REMNANT

I have read the account in the Bible in which God called a man to do a great work. When he realized the task that was before him, his question to God was, “Who am I?” I can definitely understand his response--or shall I say, his fears-- because when God unveiled His Vision before me, my question was the same....“God, who am I?” This question is not a form of disrespect toward our Creator; it is simply a statement of humility. We see an example of this in Moses.
Now Moses was tending the
flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the Priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the backside of the desert,
and came to Horeb,

Moses was already
working at the time that God called him.
He was busy tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro. The work God had for Moses was not an issue
with Moses, because working was something to which he had grown accustom. No, working was not the problem. The problem was the Vision. If God had said, “Moses, I want you
to gather up some rocks and make me an alter,” Moses would have done it without
question--maybe even completed it that same day. God, however, had a
bigger plan for Moses; a plan that caused him to question his own ability, but put him in position to be infused with God’s ability.
God is not interested in what you can do; rather His interest lies in what He can do through you. Let’s take a look at the Word of God.
And
the lord said, “I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in
their taskmasters, for I
know their sorrows.
So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand
of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from the land to a good and large land;
to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, and the
Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and
the Hivites and the Jebusites.
Now therefore, behold, the cry of the Children of
Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the
Egyptians oppress them.
Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh
that you may bring My people, the Children of

Through the years, I have heard many people mention the word Remnant. I even had an idea of what the word meant. But it was not until I was traveling that the I Lord spoke to me concerning this word. He said, "Lydia, I have never used an entire church to carry out my perfect plan. I have always used a remnant. You have been
looking to the entire church for the help that you need to carry out the Vision that I have given you. That is not how I work. Within every Church, there is always a Remnant of People.
Time and again, I have found
myself stressed out . . . disappointed because I believed everyone in the
Church should feel the same way I do about carrying out God's Vision. I
placed my attention on the Church as a whole---not on that special people God
had set apart for His perfect plan. The Word that God spoke to me brought
revelation and freedom. It was then that the Lord told me to write this book.
Get ready for the greatest revelation you will ever experience. Ask God to open
your understanding and reveal the unveiled truth about God's Remnant.
