About the Book

This, the third book in the Dream Mountain Series, switches viewpoints, letting you in on Betty Jean’s feelings, hardships, and dilemmas that start facing her almost immediately. Picking up the story from A Dream Come True, it remains an in intriguingly simple, but complicated continuance of the life the Cole family lives, following along emotionally as many changes affect each character.

Just as Lizzy felt the mountain proclaimed so much power, Betty Jean starts to wonder the same thing. One thing after another, her life seems to be spinning in circles, enough to where she’s not sure which direction to go. A terrible trauma leaves her wondering is another day even worth the living. Then when all seems hopeless, a little light shows through in the darkest time in her life, revealing to her that things can get better. With that thought, the healing of her emotional wounds begin. She learns that there are no lessons learned more powerful than lessons of the heart.

About the Author

Ms. Thompson was raised in Arkansas in the midst of country music. From a young age, she had a knack for the arts, singing and writing just the same. It wasn’t until she was a little older that it all started becoming evident what she was supposed to be doing. In short, in her words, "I’ve always looked at it like this, if there’s a talent you’re born with, that is a gift from God and one that should never be wasted. It was given to you for a reason." And as each day passes, with many more books in her future, she still clings to the simplicity she’s always loved--family, friends, and just the pure joy of doing what she loves. "It’s strange to think of myself as an author. And when people try and make a big deal out of it, I just tell them . . . I enjoy writing . . . that's all."
