Sold Out is the story of a couple that struggles to find and walk the Christ-Walk. In this story many of the highlights of the companion text, Christ-Walk, are enacted out in a fictitious story. In effect, this is a novel format of the Christ-Walk made available for those who struggle with the more difficult-to-read manuscript on this walk with Christ.
Humanity needs the integrity of Jesus' love found most profusely in the Christ-Walk. We need this life style not as a practiced facade, but as our most profound function of life. Yet, this is not an easily obtained walk. Full of life and personal obstacles, Sold Out attempts to be extremely realistic, revealing both the joy and the struggle of the overcoming walk.
Noah and his wife start adult life under the influence of the educational brainwashing system of America, which negates Noah's early Christian rearing, converting him into humanism. Nancy clings weakly to a belief in Christ and His salvation. Then, after they have graduated and experienced a series of unusual decisions and events, Noah finds salvation. Eventually the young couple start the search for the spiritual life even as given in Mathew 6:33. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness ...
In this seeking, the couple traverses this path:
Walk to wholesomeness
Attenuation path to sanctification featuring the conversion of both the alert and subconscious mind to Jesus' salvation
Overcoming walk to discipleship in Jesus Christ
This text is built under the guidance of the Spirit to assist those desiring to walk the way of Holiness, there to experience true worship of the Father. Yet, this book is also for those not now interested in Christ, certain of their current belief patterns. Within most of these souls resides a restlessness, vague and undefined. Put aside your preconceived ideas about the Christian religion and seek out the freshness of Jesus' faith walk. Here, in these pages, you can find the answer to your unease, understand the need for another dimension in our reality, the Holy Spirit.
It is our prayer and our hope that the reader will have a better appreciation of the ultimate value of our Savior, Christ Jesus, in their lives and their need to seek the Father in all things after reading this novel.
