About the Book

Little Elara is more than a bedtime story, it is part of a global healing project designed to help girls develop confidence, self-worth, emotional resilience, and the courage to trust their inner voice. Written as the companion children’s book to Elara, this beautifully illustrated story introduces young readers to powerful life lessons through a magical world of butterflies, moonlit gardens, and gentle wisdom. Author Michael Evans is a former law enforcement officer, founder of Kingsman Philanthropic Corp., and founder of USPA Nationwide Security. For more than two decades, his life’s work has centered on protecting vulnerable people, investigating crimes against women and children, locating missing persons, and helping victims rebuild their lives. Through those experiences, he witnessed a common truth: many of the struggles women face later in life begin with wounds formed during childhood. Determined to address those wounds before they begin, Evans created the Elara Project—a worldwide collaboration involving artists, musicians, cultural consultants, survivors, educators, and advocates from more than a dozen countries, including the United States, China, Taiwan, Cambodia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Ukraine, Russia, India, Pakistan, North Korea, South Korea, Bangladesh, Singapore, Laos, and others. Many come from regions historically divided by politics, conflict, or ideology, yet united here by a shared belief: every girl deserves to know her value. Together, they created a story with one simple message: A girl who knows her worth today becomes a woman who is far less vulnerable to manipulation tomorrow. Little Elara is a love letter to brave little hearts everywhere.
