About the Author

L. Beck writes her childrens’ stories from the inspiring people in her own life. Many of the characters in her books were created from the personalities in family, friends, and coworkers. It is her way of sharing these amazing people with you. L. Beck grew up in Manteca, CA and has lived most of her life in Cassville, MO. Her love of food, music, and family radiates through her writing.
