About the Book
Virginia city was being overrun with outlaws,thugs,and criminals of every kind. Citizens couldn’t walk down the streets safely. They had no law and order and the recently organized city council was struggling to find a solution. They heard about a sheriff named George Menton who had cleaned up many Texas towns and recently Oklahoma City. Bart was picked to go find him and try to convince him to come to Virginia City. Bart wondered why a famous man like that would agree to come to Virginia City,but he had to try.
About the Author
Rod Scurlock was born on a ranch in western Washington. He served on a gunboat in the Pacific in WWII. He worked with ranchers and with Indians during his working career in the United States Department of Agriculture and in the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs. He is an avid outdoorsman and has worked as a natural resources consultant in the State of Idaho. He and his wife, Ruth, have two children.
