About the Book

"The Perry Square Gospels", an utterly strange and beguiling collection from Geoff Peterson, is a study in mortality and the religion of lost childhood--made available by visiting the shrines of one's youth, either in pilgrimage or in memory. Peterson sings what ancient Homer knew: that you must go home and beat the baddest ass in memory before you are free.

About the Author

Poet Geoff Peterson has been described as the fabled bridge troll that instead lives high in the somber brick towers of the Richford Arms, a former hotel on the edge of Perry Square in no-man's land. Author of a dozen books, Peterson maintains his presence by appearing frequently in print, but rarely in person. His latest project hints at the beginning of progress in his adapting to life in Erie, Pa. His current recipe for success: don't kick against the pricks but ignore the bastards. His series The Literature of Missing Persons includes five volumes, "The Perry Square Gospels" the latest.
