A Mother's Betrayal

The rain started coming down hard and I had to stop running to catch my breath and as I looked to my left down the street wiping the rain from my face I could barely see what I thought was two men fighting, then all of a sudden I started with a fast pace walk towards them and when I realized it was my brother Steve fighting I took off running and screaming, “Steve…Stop it Steve!!!” and when I got close I could see that Steve wasn't fighting a man at all he was beating up a women. It was getting dark outside and the street light was shining through the heavy rain onto the car where Steve threw the woman and all I could see was his fist in the air repeatedly hitting her in the face and he was screaming “I’ll kill you bitch!!!” the whole scene looked like a black and white pencil sketch in motion so I jumped on his back, grabbing and pulling on his hair as hard as I could and slapping him repeatedly on the side of his head and I could see the blood running from her face while the rain was washing it away, then I panicked and screamed even louder “Stop it goddammit you’re killing her…Stop it Steve!!!” Steve was so enraged he didn't even know that I was on his back, then I felt this big tug on back of my jacket, “Get the fuck off nigga!!!” it was some neighborhood men helping by pulling me off Steve then pulling Steve off the women.
