A rat shooting party is when a group of people gather together with high powered BB guns, and shoot the rats that come into the apartment while drinking and smoking marijuana. Usually someone would fry chicken and someone would sit food traps out for the rats, and the smell from the chicken frying would help bring the rats out of their holes, located throughout the apartment. Twelve people showed up for the rat shooting party and three high powered BB guns were passed around alone with marijuana joints, everybody was drinking and eating fried chicken while shooting rats. “David, start looking for a new apartment first thing in the morning!!” I demanded, “Because these motherfuckers are crazy!!

About the Book
Moving from one tenement apartment building to the next in the slums of Chicago Illinois, and having babies at an early age Angela had to grow up fast, not knowing where her next meal was coming from she turned to the streets. Without the love, care, and trust of her family Angela had to jump over some unspeakable hurdles, hurdles that her mother held up so high until it was almost impossible to clear them, as Angela tells her story she will be thinking back on some of the most DISTURBING acts committed against her by family, friends, and strangers.
About the Author
Angela White is a 55 year old single mother who lives in Decatur Illinois and outside of writing this book, moving to decatur was the best decision she's ever made, Decatur Illinois welcomed Angela and her children when they most needed it and she is writing this book to vent, with the hope that she can help women and men alike, to see that light at the end of the tunnel, the light that she now stands in.
