I pulled up into the driveway and parked my car. I walked through the gate, and I scanned the back yard. It was even better than the night before. I looked around slowly as I walked to the basement apartment. I let myself in. It was still overwhelming. I looked around and it was so amazing. How was she doing all this on her own? This is just too much. I hoped it wouldn't go to James' head. I would be so tempted to stay here myself and forget about anything else.
I walked into James' room, and he was still sleeping. I smiled looking at him. Why did he want to be with me? He was so amazing and perfect. My heart raced. I set my bag on the dresser. There was a good size box on top with a note on it. Sarah, yes this is for you. Only put it on if you are ready.
Shit what did he do? I opened the box and unfolded the tissue paper. It was a white satin lingerie thing. It was very pretty, but I wouldn't put it on, not yet. I dug around in my bag to find the feather. I put the feather in with it and closed it back up. I looked at James lying there with the curtains draped around his bed. He was only partially covered.
I went to the steps, walked down two and sat down. I wanted to kiss him awake, but would I be asking for it? I didn't want to turn him on and then turn him down. I loved to kiss him. I sat there looking at him. I wanted to touch him. Did he flinch? Am I going insane? I had to test this. I thought about tracing my hands down his chest to his abs.
“Sarah not again.” He rolled over. Shit, did he live my thoughts? Oh my god, I am sorry James. His muscles relaxed. James, I love you. He hugged his pillow a little more.
I moved to the bed crawling very carefully not to wake him and sat down. He was facing away from me. My heart was beating fast. I reached out to touch his back. The muscle tightened.
“James?” He didn't move.
I thought about lying down next to him wrapping my arms around him. He turned to me and opened his eyes. He looked at me and closed his eyes again rolling to his back putting his arm up to shield his eyes.
“How much do you know?”
I moved closer to him not touching his body with mine, but I did trace my fingers over his chest, “Enough to know I tortured you last night.” I could see the smile under his arm. “James, can't you block it at all?”
