About the Author

Bettie Hamilton lives on Marblehead Harbor, Massachusetts, a 350 year old fishing town halfway between Boston, Ma. and Gloucester, Ma. With her husband Jack and dog, Lucy.  Their four children are grown with children of their own, living in Australia, Maine and Ma.  She began writing mystery stories for one son, Peder, a pilot, who complained he was running out of same to read on his layovers.  Hamilton is a prize winning poet and artist and painted the covers for her books.
