About the Book

In Knights for Nicola, (Lea and Tony’s adopted Italian daughter), she is spending time at Lake Como in Italy with Count Pierangelo Dinapoli, his wife, Camilla, their twin sons Leonid and Louis, and their little sister Margarita. Their pet monkey,  Pepe, charms Nicola from being too homesick for Lucy. The Countess’s maid is found dead in their Koi fish pond on the expansive estate. Detectives brought in to solve the case unravel a series of murders in the small village. At 16, Nicola meets her future husband and falls completely in love.

About the Author

Bettie Hamilton lives on Marblehead Harbor, Ma. with her husband Jack. Their four

grown children live in Australia, Maine and Massachusetts with their families. An award winning artist and poet, Bettie decided to try her hand at a genre she loves- mystery novels with some romance tucked in between the lines, especially for a pilot son who liked to read on his layovers. Following the fortunes of artist Lea, Tony, a boat builder, Nicola, Retti and Brian-Will, the fisherman and Julia and the triplets- lawyer Sylvia, Police Detective Skip and singer Claire and lawyer Abe as they live and grow and travel from their 350 year old fishing town to Italy, Australia and Hawaii and back again was a fascinating journey and a labor of much love.
