About the Book

When the Soviet Union dismantled its Communist government, it disbanded the KGB. One agent, who had spent most of his twenty-five year career in the Balkans, decides to defect. He sells a cache of weapons, retaining the proceeds for himself, changes his appearance, and decides to live in the Balkans, assuming local identity. With the assistance of a new lady friend he accidentally gets deeply involved in national politics and becomes a cabinet officer in the government. He foils an attempted coup and orchestrates a change in the presidency. He later visits the United States and finds himself in the middle of an attempted terrorist act at the United Nations Building.


About the Author

For many years the author was an international banker with extensive travel in over 60 countries. He has lectured and written numerous articles on banking and published two books, International Banking and Foreign Exchange Trading Techniques and Controls. He has translated and published a ten volume work from the tsarist era, Russian Heraldryand Nobility he has also published three works with 1stBooks The American Laird, Attack Satellite, and Balkanad Ventures One. He now lives in Florida where his current project is writing novels where the events take place in countries that he has visited.
