About the Author

An Adjunct Professor at the University of Abuja Business School (Oil, Gas and Energy), Abner is a passionate and knowledgeable individual who enjoys both acquiring and sharing knowledge. A scholar and researcher with numerous international journal publications, he has earned Distinguished International Journal Awards. Has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, spanning 22 years with the NMDPRA, and a decade in the finance sector. Renowned for providing workable solutions to complex challenges. He served as the Technical Adviser on Midstream & Downstream to the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources from 2019 to 2023, a vital role in the Petroleum Industry Act of 2021 and in the entire oil and gas value chain in Nigeria and abroad. Abner enjoys farming, traveling, and community development. He values their union with his wife, Barrister Martha, and their three exceptional children, Kashari, Kunari, and Khinmari.
