With deep fascination of how countries begin their journey, how they face daunting challenges of infancy, strive for growth against all odds, reach great heights of maturity, and sometimes falter into decline. It wrestles with the hard questions: Why do some countries fl ourish while others fracture? What internal forces and external pressures shape a nation’s trajectory? How can individuals recognize the signs of their country’s stage of life—and, more importantly, respond in ways that foster resilience and hope rather than despair and division?

About the Author

An Adjunct Professor at the University of Abuja Business School (Oil, Gas and Energy), Abner is a passionate and knowledgeable individual who enjoys both acquiring and sharing knowledge. A scholar and researcher with numerous international journal publications, he has earned Distinguished International Journal Awards. Has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, spanning 22 years with the NMDPRA, and a decade in the fi nance sector. Renowned for providing workable solutions to complex challenges. He served as the Technical Adviser on Midstream & Downstream to the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources from 2019 to 2023, a vital role in the Petroleum Industry Act of 2021 and in the entire oil and gas value chain in Nigeria and abroad. Abner enjoys farming, traveling, and community development. He values their union with his wife, Barrister Martha, and their three exceptional children, Kashari, Kunari, and Khinmari.
