About the Book

This is a book about the day that the New York World Trade Center was attacked and destroyed. On 9/11, That Fateful Day, also commonly known as September 11, or just 9/11, nearly 3000 people were murdered, not just within the World Trade complex, but also at the Pentagon in Washington, DC., and in a plane crashing into a fi eld near Shanksville, PA. This book will focus upon the personal dramas that took place within the World Trade Center. The story is related without any politics, rancor or geopolitical opinion whatsoever. Within this book, we will follow 24 hours within the fi ctional lives of three off ice workers - Roger Phillips, Meena Sukram, and Donna Davis, along with their families and co-workers as they begin their day just like any other. The focus of the book is upon the personal lives of each person as they make their way to the WTC complex only to see their lives upended. The book continues on with their personal lives on the day after the disaster, and then the book ends showing how life and love can overcome all on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, That Fateful Day.
