The transports stopped abruptly.
Loven touched his com-link. “What’s wrong?”
“You gotta see this,” the driver said.
Biron clearly heard the exchange. “I’ll come, too.”
Loven rose to exit the back of the transport. He pressed the release button. The back end of the vehicle lowered to the ground, creating a ramp. Biron followed Loven outside. Dalsia tagged along.
They faced a gory wall of lifeless bodies stacked across the road, blocking the transports. Unrepressed anger erupted from Biron. “The Vampeer will pay for this.”
Dalsia thought she’d caught a glimpse of fangs. She rushed over, opening the mouth of one of the corpses. Sure enough, there were fangs.
“I don’t understand,” Loven said. “Why would they kill their own?”
“They aren’t Vampeer,” Dalsia corrected. “They’re Vam. Obviously, Vampeer are doing some cleansing of their own.”
Loven touch his com-link. “Everyone, power up. We’ve entered the Bad Lands. Switch to antigrav. We’ve going over.”

About the Book
The Army of Darkness is waging a massive attack against the Warriors of the Light and civilian forces on Rylaxon. Young Warrior Biron Coomra has his hands full not only battling the enemy, but also fighting the critical energy crisis on Eda—the only refuge from the evil spreading across the solar system.

But as Biron attempts to alleviate Dalsia’s tortured memories by traveling through time to change her past, he soon discovers that no good deed goes unpunished. His kind intentions turn tragic, threatening to negate the Light’s greatest victory. Now it is up to Biron to ignore his Warrior code and restore the future—even if that means killing the innocent and placing his own life in jeopardy.
In this continuing battle of good versus evil, a young Warrior must repair a fractured timeline, find crucial power crystals, and save humanity before time erases all hope.
