About the Book

This is the story of the author’s climb from a US Marine to overseas police contractor with the United Nations and finally as an undercover narcotics agent in the desert cities of southeast New Mexico and West Texas.

About the Author

After serving over 35 years in uniform in one capacity or another, Robert Garcia, a US Marine veteran and police officer is semi-retired and presently living in southeast New Mexico. He is currently working on a second book project about the Vietnam Veteran and the negative stereotype of our returning Nam Vets. He has plans for two additional non-fiction books; the Undercover Narcotics Agent and the Ranch Working Cowboys of Southeast New Mexico and West Texas.
