About the Book

“And the believers will be caught up!” The Rapture. “Across the country and around the world people have vanished,” the newscaster announces as multitudes gather to watch and listen. Our world is in chaos. Alien abduction. A vanishing mystery. A plague that consumes living tissue. All have an opinion, especially the church, which assumes no responsibility. Economic collapse paralyzes planet Earth. Government leaders and religious leaders combine forces to help stabilize the mass chaos. The Antichrist rises to power! Some follow the Antichrist; some question. The mark of the beast is implemented to distinguish the followers of the Antichrist. The mark is needed for buying, selling, or transporting all, anything and everything. Rufus, my trusty red Irish terrier, and I head to the protective safety of Jekyll Island, Georgia.

About the Author

David McCune, founder, president and owner of McCune Technology for over forty years is often referred to as “A Renaissance Man” because of his diverse facets of challenging undertakings. As a young child David was always building or inventing some kind of new gadget. In his teenage years he launched high altitude rockets with mice in flight capsules. NASA recognized and awarded his achievements. Later, he built pollution control devices for the internal combustion engine. At nineteen, he had an idea for a rear window louver for his Datsun 240-Z. He built the automotive accessory and, with a $35 dollar investment, started his business. Now in his very early sixties he is a nationally renowned artist, entrepreneur, actor, model, author and authority on Workforce Development. Workforce Development is a driving passion of McCune’s life. He has served, or currently serves, on county, state, regional or national workforce boards. “To compete in a global economy and marketplace our workforce must be educated and continue in a climate of continual life-long learning skills.”
