About the Book

While waiting for the roads to be cleared after a winter storm, a lonely over the road trucker, Kris Krangle, befriends a little girl a few days before Christmas who thinks he is Santa Claus. His act of kindness doesn’t go unnoticed, and his striking resembles to the jolly ole fellow leads to wonderful adventures across some of the Rocky Mountains' interstate highways.

As Kris drives his big red rig over the snowy mountains highways the magic and miracles of Christmas unfold before the often moist eyes of this kind, lonely trucker as other truckers and helpers become silent elves.

About the Author

Vallyn’s life has been filled with adventures from those of youth, to the Navy and as a Green Beret in Special Forces while traveling around the world. However, none have compared with the wonderful adventure of living with the love of his life, Sunshine, and raising six wonderful sons.

The Twelve Days of Christmas were a tradition at his home when his sons could be silent elves racing through the night delivering gifts. On Christmas Eve he would dress as Santa and with one of my son’s as an elf would visit unsuspecting families. Those wonderful times where often filled with great emotion as hearts were touched by the magic of Christmas.

Following in the tradition of story telling found in his other books, 48 Acres, and Pink Pigeons, enjoy the roller coaster ride of emotions as you ride with a lonely, over the road trucker, who becomes Semi Santa.
