About the Book

This book is a collection of mythical and mysterious rhyming stories, from places as diverse as China, Canada, and the South Pacific ocean. The content of each poem is also diverse,, with a mystery off the west coast of Ireland, contrasting with a ghostly tale of pirates in the South Seas. Some of the stories leave the ending to the reader;s imagination, while others suggest why the mystery may have happened. Altogether, the book is a mixture of intrigue, and suspense, which will appeal to children from about 8 years of age and upwards. Teenagers wil also appreciate the different scenarios throughout the book, and adults also would gain considerable enjoyment from reading it. This is a thought-provoking book, and one can only be amazed at the outcome of each tale. Children will want to keep reading till the end, waiting expectantly for the conclusion of each tale, whether it be a mysterious ending, or a puzzle never to be solved. An immense amount of thought went into each story. This book was as much a pleasure to write as it will be to read. Some of the incidents in the book, were experienced by the Author during travels around the world.
