About the Book

Lilibat was primarily written to put the Authors dreams down on paper. The dreams were vivid and some of the illustrations done by the Author are what she actually saw. These dreams spill over into books two and three. Phillipa is the main character and is put through some gruesome tasks most of which are out of her control. She meets new friends as well as monsters. Mostly she is put into unusual situations which cannot be solved by her alone. She is also torn between Lilibat and home. She also thinks nobody knows about her secret life but the plot only thinkens in the next book adventure. The Author used to be a Synchronized Swimming teacher and the Ocean is a perfect playground., It is a time of decisions, timing, close encounters, tension and worry for all concerned. All the illustrations and front cover was drawn by Jayne B. Allen.

About the Author

Jayne is fifty-three years young and has two grown-up children. She is also a grandma to a gorgeous little girl, who is nearly one. She was born in Crickowell, Wales, in a tiny white cottage. She and her mom travelled to Hong Kong on a ship for six weeks to join her father who was posted there by the army. Also, this is where her sister was born. In between travels, her two brothers were born in Salisbury, England. Her hunger for writing came when she was voted on as a public relations officer for Walsall Synchronized Swimming Club. She also wrote poetry. Her poetry phase encouraged others to write it as well. She also loves embroidery, drawing, painting, sketching, and in her very younger days, she went to Walsall Art College. She still creates today. When she worked, her job was a mental health support worker. She has just experienced her first redundancy. She has been a carer, a barmaid, senior physiotherapy assistant, and a manual bookkeeper. The biggest job she has ever had, and found it hard, is being a mother. She remarried about four years ago to a wonderful man. He is her soul mate and rock. He has always supported her with everything she does and has done. She also has three woofies (dogs), three chickens (Beauty, Pritti, Mifanwy), and middle-aged Sammy the tortoise who keeps her on her toes as to where he buries himself in the garden for the winter.
