About the Book
Fourth Street is about a young girl growing up in the 1970's in Quincy, Florida, watching her grandfather "Daddy Bowman," who happens to be the town cobbler, fix shoes, teach her life lessons, and leaves her with cherishable memories. "Daddy Bowman," helps his granddaughter, her mother, and her sister, as they transition from moving from Connecticut to Florida. This heart-warming book is sure to kick up childhood memories in any person that had grandparents that took the time to teach, to love, and to inspire.
About the Author
Anastasia Means-Dallas has been writing every since she can remember. She started off as early as elementary school, writing poetry, and entering writing contests. She published her first book, "Waiting With A Purpose-A Guide to Finding Your Boaz, a self help book designed for avoiding the pitfalls of unhealthy relationships. She is currently working on a stage play to accompany the book. "Fourth Street" is her first of many chldren books that she hopes to write. Anastasia currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Roy, while raising two school-aged children, and supporting her oldest son who is away at college. Along with being an author, she is an educator, songwriter and gospel singer. She attends church at World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia. She bases her life off of the scripture Matthew 6:33-"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
