JUNKY SPACE JUNK
There is a lot of junky space junk orbiting our earth every day.
Many hundreds of thousands of objects in space that are in the way.
This junk includes rocket bodies and mission-related debris,
And some non-functional spacecraft, fuel, paint flakes, and batteries.
A good, practical solution needs to be found on the double
Because all this junk is cluttering space and can cause some trouble,
Like the jeopardizing of space travel and future space missions
Because of the risk of operational spacecraft collisions.
It's bad enough that planet earth has way too much junk and debris.
We need to keep our planet and the space above it clutter free.

About the Book
Sciencepalooza is a collection of science poetry for grades one through five. Each rhyming poem has a catchy title and focuses on a specific science topic. Some of the poems can also be sung to familiar tunes. About the Author
Author Franny Vergo retired in 2011, after thirty-six years of teaching fourth grade, to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a published children’s author. During her long and fruitful career, Ms. Vergo wrote poems, raps, songs, and plays that she enthusiastically shared with her eager students. Ms. Vergo lives in Bartlett, Illinois, and continues to write and inspire children.
