About the Author

Sharolyn Wallace, PhD, LCSW, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor is the Associate Professor of Human Services at Tulsa Community College. She has over 25 years of experience counseling children and families during crisis and trauma. Dr. Wallace uses stories and books as a means to healing. She has always had horses in her life. Dr. Wallace shares her great love of horses with her husband, Charlie Bowman at their ranch in Oklahoma.
