The orphan brother and sister whose parents were died very early, appeared in hard life. The elder sister who was 13 years old girl started to work at the factory. She took a role of mother for her little brother. Very soon she enters the Karate school, to protect her brother from pugnacious fellows. She plays a role of mother very well, and at the same time she is his father, sister and brother. Once the fourteen year old boy brings huge amount of money to rescue a cousin sister from illness. Lizi is furious; she tries to find out where her brother had got such amount money. The boy keeps silence, consequently she beat him. The discord is appearing between them. The boy escapes from the house and passes the border. Lizi regrets her behavior and searches little brother, but without result…


About the Author

Iza Chkadua was born in Svanetia, one of the most beautiful mountainous regions of Georgia. She had always been fond of reading. As she usually says her whole life is a true VERSE. Literature had been her refuge since she was a little girl. Silence and books have been the only salvation for the fragile woman and the very collection of stories is somewhat of the longed-for bareness of her soul. It was the desire to free herself from the experience of the past that made her write the book and share all the sensations with you. Dear Reader! Iza Chkadua graduated from Tbilisi A. S. Pushkin Institute of Philology and graduated from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Department of Philosophy and Psychology. She is an author of several poetic collections and publishes her prose works in different Georgian periodicals.Now Iza Chkadua lives in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. She has a husband and two children. Most stories included in the very collection are based upon real facts.
