About the Book
Inside a Crazy Mind covers a variety of subjects. A few of Washington’s poems are sometimes dark because he was inspired by horror films as a youngster. His current poetry influences incorporate personal experiences, music, horror and science fiction films. Inside a Crazy Mind also embraces the topics of love, inspiration and includes poems by his alter ego, The Ruler of Rhyme. Washington wanted his readers to contemplate certain social and individual struggles such as good versus evil and the fight for justice. Inside a Crazy Mind also includes poems of madness, sadness and more! Some consider his point of view humorous and slightly crazy, giving the book its title…Inside a Crazy Mind.
About the Author
Malcolm Washington is a fifteen year old student at Great Oak High School in Southern California. His search for creativity led him to start a writers club, Writers of the Literary Future, on campus. Washington’s lifetime goal is to become a psychologist. He continues writing poetry and science fiction stories.
