Make a determination this day to be a faithful servant for the Lord. Serve Him diligently, commit to spending time daily in intercession, be His secretary and give Him your loyalty. Serve those that God has sent to you; and serve them through the power of prayer despite whether you know them or not. Pray for your Pastor and all the other leaders in your Church, family and community. Give your best to God as you groan and travail for others. Hook up in the realm of the spirit with others that are interceding for God’s will to be enforced in the earth.
Pray for lost souls to be ushered into the kingdom. Someone somewhere is probably praying for a member of your family’s salvation. Don’t just move out of the way of a paramedic vehicle or a fire truck, intercede. Don’t just stare at someone who you believe is homeless, intercede. Don’t just witness someone in an accident, intercede. Don’t just watch the news and say oh that’s a shame, intercede. Pray for our leaders in the Church as God has instructed us in His Word, in fact the Bible list a number of traits in First Timothy chapter 3 that all leaders should have. He says that one must be, above reproach, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, not dependent on alcohol, not greedy or two faced.

About the Book
There has to be intimacy before intercession. Jesus calls us to develop an intimate relationship with Him and the Father by becoming frequent visitors before the throne. We must then ask ourselves the question, “Are you known at the throne?” The lesson in this book is very clear; we are not magicians before the throne, magically calling things into existence or naming it and claiming it by using the mighty name of Jesus. The spiritual war we should wage starts with believing God; this produces a spiritual connection when you engage the enemy through intercession. I call this coming into agreement with heaven and at this point Jesus Himself reaffirms with His Word.
About the Author
Gwendolyn Ann Cook is the founder and president of “Women Walking in the Spirit Ministries” a nondenominational Christian outreach. The anointing on Gwen’s life is both strong and bold. Her passion is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. In October of 2009 Gwendolyn launched her first book a testimony of God’s healing power titled “The Power To Believe, It’s not what you need, It’s what you Believe!”
Gwendolyn’s belief is that prayer is the lifeline of the believer and that it is a vital key for walking in victory.
