Herman quickly opened the letter and began reading it. He could not believe what he was seeing. The letter was from his son, Miles.
‘Dear Dad, I am writing to you from a time before you were born. I am not sure what happened, but one minute I was eating dinner at our home, and then suddenly I travelled back in time to the year 1945! I do not know where mom and sis are. I hope this letter gets to you somehow.’
“That is Miles!” shouted Herman, as he looked at a dated photo which was included in the letter.
Herman realized that the time machine did not send him back in time, but his entire family.
“I have to try and get my family back!” said Herman.

About the Book
Herman Hamburger is an awkward fellow with a passion for science. Herman has been building a time machine for several months in the basement of his home. One day he receives his final part by courier, a green dental chair that will seat the time traveler. The chair turns out to be smaller than what he thought he had ordered, requiring him to make some quick adjustments to his design. Herman eventually completes the unusually small time travel device, and sits in it, hoping to travel to the period when the Great Pyramids of Egypt were being constructed. He launches the machine and following some loud bangs and puffs, he is disappointed to find his time travel device has failed to take him anywhere. Herman gets up from the chair and walks upstairs to the kitchen where he left his family to clean up after dinner. He finds that the house is completely empty. After becoming concerned, Herman decides to contact the police. As he is about to pick up the phone, the door bell rings. A mailman hands him a letter which, much to Herman’s surprise, is addressed ‘To Dad.’ After opening the letter he finds it is dated the year 1945. Herman quickly realizes his time travel device has sent, not him, but his entire family through time. He must now figure out how to get them back home safely, in present day time.

MARK BELLINO is a creative, ambitious individual with a positive outlook on life. Mark has travelled the world extensively, which has given him the opportunity to satisfy his appreciation of cultures, described through architectural, literary and artistic works. These intimate experiences have led him to realize the power that art and literature have over influencing the world. He began writing twenty years ago, expressing himself through various poetic creations. Over the years, Mark has developed a desire to write fictional stories, which culminated to the authorship of his first novel, A Chance of Rain. This was quickly followed by the creation of 9 Lives, which takes his readers to the edge of Sci-Fi thrillers. As part of a deal he made with one of his children, he went on to write My Tiny Green Time Machine, which is a full blown children's book! Mark is currently busy with many other concepts, and hopes to continue producing captivating tales for his growing audience.
