The less said about Stanley Hart, the better. He atones for being a poor speller by being a natty dresser. If you chance to meet him, give him a warm ‘Hello’ and say something nice. He is very sensitive – the only trait he shares with Marcel Proust.

“Twilight Time” is Hart’s third volume of short stories. With any luck, there won’t be a fourth.
