            This is collection of stories that illustrates that there is no age limit to living life to its fullest. In it, seniors disdain passivity to lead active lives. The effects are often surprising and always entertaining.

About the Author

Stanley Hart went to Stuyvesant High School in New York City and then to college at CCNY and earned an MA at Columbia. He specialized in Elizabethan Theater studies and he found to his surprise that it was a subject that hardly ever came up in conversation. After thirteen years in business, Hart ventured to California where he wrote for movies (screenwriter for the film, “Move”) and television (writer and co-head writer for “The Carol Burnett Show).

“Persky’s Last Year” is Hart’s second group of short stories that deals with fictional residents in a senior residence in the Bronx.

Hart has two children who have their own children and he lives happily in Bronxville, NY with his art therapist, portrait painter wife, Jane.
