About the Book

Ed woke up with the blaring alarm! He almost wished he didn’t live in an advanced gopher civilization with jobs, electricity, and trains to the office. So begins the novella, E. D. Gopher. After saying goodbye to his wife and kids, E.D. never makes it back to the office. Instead, he finds himself as the leading voice in an unusual and desperate struggle for survival, for himself and his fellow Gomericans.

About the Author

Ron N. Wallace’s trade has been writing advertising. It is perhaps due to his father being a top executive at the Alka-Seltzer company in the early 70’s, before it was sold, during the Wells, Rich, Greene advertising agency days of i.e. “Try it, you’ll like it!” He graduated from ElkhartHigh School Indiana in 1972, spent two years at UNC/Chapel Hill, and achieved a B.A. English/Creative Writing, 1976, from Kalamazoo College. E.D. Gopher was written just for fun.
