About the Author
Following a slight stroke, Dave Jarman retired from Lloyds TSB Bank in September 2006, after 36 years. He started writing poetry early in 2007, and in May 2008 had a book of poems 'Allsorts' published. In the autumn of 2008 he began to write short stories, and these then developed into his book 'The Shopkeeper.'
Divorced, with two grown up children, Claire and Andy, Dave now lives with his partner, Diane, in Caterham, Surrey.
