About the Book
Allsorts is a collection of poems reflecting on life and love in a world that can sometimes seem full of cynicism, but a world that could and should be so much happier. The book should appeal to anyone who finds today's world hectic and frustrating, and all the "Grumpy Old Men....and Woman" will find much to empathise with. There is plenty for great romantics, and parents everywhere will be nodding in full agreement with so much of what is written.
About the Author
David Jarman was born in 1953 and has lived all of his life in Surrey and West Sussex. In May 2006 he suffered a slight stroke which led him to taking early retirement from his job with Lloyds TSB bank, who he worked for for 36 years. Following retirement he reflected on life and found himself writing poetry. A completely new venture but one he has undertaken with passion. His work can be dark, but also shows great compassion and emotion as well as an element of humour.
