It has been around for so many decades now. Caregiving has hundreds of success stories and gross billions of dollars in revenues for the nation. It once was an unpopular business in the early 1960’s and late 1970’s but made a great come back  in the mid 1990’s to early 2000’s to meet the needs of more than 87 million Americans that belong to the baby boomer population in desperate need of this service. With these recent developments, things gradually changed and it appears to be for the better. With these growing trends in aging, health care, and technology, people are taking advantage of these changes by gradually trading-in their lucrative careers and professions to enter into a more personalized care type of business, such as health care and other caregiving related careers.

About the Author

       Romwell M.Sabeniano, has an interesting background in the health care field which include his extensive experience as a  Case Manager/Social Worker for the physically and developmentally challenged population in the Inland Counties of Riverside and San Bernardino, California. He was an educator and founder of Health Care Training and Staffing Services, a school workshop that provided training resources, tapes, CD’s, DVD’s and books, certification training classes for caregivers, facility administrators. He provided private consultation on facility program planning and design. His interest in health care services started in 1992 when he volunteered for a non-profit foundation for special children, later became a member of the support staff and counselor in a group home setting. He went on to pursue his interest in providing care for children and adults with severe behavior and mental health issues when he became an administrator for two 6-bed Residential Care Facilities in the Los Angeles County. Upon completion of his Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management in 2000, Romwell saw the earning potential of providing personalized care services in a private in-home setting. He went on establish his first caregiving business and named it Angel Care Respite and Home Support Services, a private in-home caregiving business that served the needs of the physically and developmentally challenged children, adults and seniors who prefer living independently at home instead of an institutional setting.

       Romwell is the author of An Easy Guide on How to Establish Your First Residential Care Facility in 2005 now available at your local bookstores and through the Internet.
