About the Author

  Romwell Martinez Sabeniano, with a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management has an interesting background in the health care field which includes his extensive experience as a  Case Manager/Social Worker for the physically and the developmentally challenged population in the Inland Counties of Riverside and San Bernardino. He is also an educator and founder of Health Care Training and Staffing Services, a school/workshop that provides training resources such as tapes and books, certification training classes for caregivers and facility administrators and conduct private consultation on facility program planning and design. His initial experience in the field of caring started when he had an opportunity to volunteer for a non-profit organization, then eventually worked on as a staff member,  counselor, direct care provider in a 50 bed institutional facility and in several small 6-bed residential care facilities setting where he recognized the various contrasts and challenges of the business. These include learning the different roles and responsibilities of good quality caregiving from the stand-point of being a facility staff worker, a caregiver, a business owner, a facility operator, an entrepreneur, an administrator, and now looks at the health care business from a perspective of a case manager/social worker. Romwell is also involved in supporting local and international humanitarian organizations and was the founder of a non-profit foundation known as the PVI Foundation for Special Children. With his mission to aid seniors and individuals who are unable to care for themselves, he went on to establish ANGELCARE Respite Care and Home Support Services. He also served as a consultant to numerous start-up companies involved in the business of operating various community care facilities within the San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
