About the Author
Martyn Horner-Glister was born in 1982 in
Sixteen years later in 1998, the principal ideas and characters came together for the MDK. Two scripts were written and along with some friends and his Dad’s video camera, two scenes were filmed (The outtake reel being at least double the length of the film).
The idea was soon forgotten.
Then in 2001 in his final year at college, he stumbled across the video and the fire of inspiration was re-kindled, and he commenced writing a prequel to the film that never got completed. This turned into a short novel; Atomic Life, which was published in August 2007 by Authorhouse.
Lost is the second MDK short novel following the same characters.
Martyn also runs Mirror Image Youth Theatre at The Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough,
He has also appeared in the 2002 movie ‘Possession’, if only fleetingly, with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Martyn currently works as a team leader in the kitchen of the busiest pub in his home town.
