“Oh, goody. Okay, I’m going to get a quick shower. I think I’ll wear a red tie with my white shirt and blue suit. It’ll make me look important. Get some more coffee. I’ll be right back,” said Junior, as he jogged across the room and out the door. As the door closed behind the President, Haney laughed quietly. “Hee, hee. What a goof.” While the President was singing cowboy songs in the shower, Haney sat and went over a mental checklist. He wanted to be sure they had taken all possible scenarios into consideration. The way he figured it, they had about six months to move the cash from EROC and appropriate it for their own use. He and his team figured the war would last no more than that. Saddam Hussein’s army was mostly land bound; his air force had been decimated during the Kuwait liberation and most of his horde of other weapons and explosives, except for the weapons of mass destruction, of course, were estimated by the CIA to be minimal or useless.
