About the Author

The author of this factual history account of her grandmother is the mother of four grown children. She went to three different Universities to study art and at the University of Michigan she majored in English Literature. Finally graduating with Hundreds of credits in art, but achieving a degree in Teaching, with a concentration in History and Psychology at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, She was what her family called the “perpetual student.” She was inspired to write this account of her grandmother, whom she so admired and loved, when she realized no one else knew this wonderful story in her family. It was too sweet a life to leave it untold.
